Silhouette InstaLift® in Raleigh, NC
What Is a Silhouette InstaLift®?
Silhouette InstaLift® is a type of thread lift and the latest non-surgical procedure that physically lifts the sagging tissues of the face. Comprised of suspended sutures with small cones of collagen, this thread lift creates immediate results of a more lifted and youthful appearance. This procedure has the dual benefit of lifting the skin and stimulating collagen formation. Thus improving skin firmness and fullness.
How does Silhouette InstaLift® work?
During the procedure, the InstaLift threads, often called sutures, are strategically inserted to lift the deep skin layers of the mid-face, cheek and jawline. The sutures are naturally absorbed by your body and stimulate collagen production aiding in the healthy renewal of your skin. The tiny cones of collagen release over time aiding in the production of facial volume and will continue to increase over the next two years.
The Silhouette InstaLift® is a non-surgical procedure that is done as an outpatient office visit. You do not need a driver to take you home nor will you need to take prescription medication. This procedure requires only local anesthesia at the insertion sites to provide comfort and is virtually painless – you will be able to carry on a conversation with the doctor the entire time!
Why get Silhouette InstaLift?®
Sagging skin is one of the major contributing factors to an aged and tired appearance. Unlike a traditional facelift , the Silhouette InstaLift® procedure is a great option for those who are not interested in having an invasive surgery. Furthermore, the procedure complements injectable treatments and, in some instances, it can minimize the need for multiple injection treatments.
As this procedure addresses skin laxity, it’s most effective to do before developing severe loose skin. The ideal patient will have mild to moderate loose skin along their mid-face (upper cheeks) and jowl (lower face) region.
With the Silhouette InstaLift® is there is little to no downtime! Most patients have a little swelling and bruising for 7-10 days but can easily be covered up with makeup. Furthermore, the total length of this procedure is approximately 1 hour. Lunch-break thread lift, anyone?
