How does it work?

BBL™from Sciton uses the power of light to target the pigment within the skin.  Utilizing the CoolComfort handpiece, the BBL2 flashes specialized light as it quickly moves across the treatment area.  The pigment is initially darkened helping you know that you had an optimal treatment. Over time your body’s natural healing process will remove the pigmented cells replacing them with new, undamaged cells. A single pass addresses the skin’s overall appearance, while multiple passes provide the appearance of tighter skin and correct pigmented lesions, skin flushing, acne, and more.

How comfortable is the treatment?

Painful treatments are a thing of the past! The device’s ComfortCool technology keeps skin cool and comfortable, so numbing cream isn’t needed. Each flash of the BBL2 light produces a feeling of warmth and ost patients easily tolerate the feeling without needing any anesthetic numbing cream.

How many treatments will I need?

You will see results from a single treatment; however, the number of treatments will depend on the severity of your pigment.  A typical patient requires 2 treatments and we encourage a customized treatment regimen moving forward to maintain the skin’s health and appearance.
