Say Goodbye to the Bulge with CoolSculpting Non-Surgical Fat Reduction
Say goodbye to that double chin, pinchable tummy fat, muffin tops, love handles and thigh saddlebags. CoolSculpting is the most trusted and most consistent non-surgical way to lose those annoying bulges of stubborn fat. Unlike the liposuction surgical method of body contouring, CoolSculpting involves no anesthesia, no scars, and no downtime. Patients can spend their procedure time reading, browsing the internet, watching television, or simply relaxing.
CoolSculpting is safe, FDA-cleared, and determined to be effective based on plastic surgery literature. Results look natural and can be seen as early as three weeks following treatment, with the most dramatic results generally apparent after one to three months.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting non-surgical fat reduction technology gently and effectively targets the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected.
How does CoolSculpting work?
CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling (cryolipolysis) to target and kill fat cells only. In the weeks to follow, these fat cells are naturally eliminated from the body.
Who Is the Right CoolSculpting Patient?
Although we see a variety of liposuction patients, we also see many patients who are interested in fat reduction even though the amount of unwanted fat they desire to have removed is not enough to require the traditional surgical procedure. This type of patient is typically in good health and close to their ideal weight. They may have small to medium-sized pockets of excess fat that won’t respond to diet and/or exercise.
What Happens During the Treatment?
CoolSculpting uses a process known as cyrolipolysis to apply cold externally to areas of unwanted fat. This technique freezes the fat cells without damaging the skin. The cold temperature allows the fat within the cells to disperse, and then the body’s natural processes take over and eliminate the fat over the months following treatment. Other procedures that use laser and sonic waves to remove fat can damage other tissue in the process by burning or shattering non-fat cells.
To What Body Areas Can CoolSculpting Be Applied?
It is important to understand that CoolSculpting fat reduction is reserved for a very specific candidate as the treatment works best on small to medium pockets of unwanted fat. FDA-cleared for reducing fat on the flanks and abdomen, patients with small amounts of excess fat can have CoolSculpting of the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms and knees. Having our plastic surgeons assess if you are a good candidate is highly recommended.
How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost?
The cost varies per patient depending on the area treated and the applicator used. During your consultation, a best results “Treat-to-Complete” plan is customized to your individual concerns.
